Young Glasgow woman 'cried in bathroom' when bullies called her names after losing eye

A young Glasgow woman was taunted by school bullies after losing her eye to save her life as a four year old.

Katie Elliot had her right eye removed when she was diagnosed with retinoblastoma - a rare eye cancer - after her mum spotted her pupil changing shape.

Following a year of treatment, the now 20-year-old was given the all clear aged five but had to adapt to life without the vision in her right eye.
