A young drug dealer was found in possession of £10,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis and around £15,000 of designer clothes and bikes when police searched his home. He was also found in possession of a Rambo knife and a knuckleduster.
Jayden Green, 21, of Cardiff, was stopped by police who were searching for a vulnerable teenager involved in drug dealing on May 9. The defendant matched the description of the teen as he was riding a Sur-Ron electric bike and wearing various labels such as a North Face coat and Nike trainers.
At around 4pm in Johnston Road, Llanishen, the defendant tried to ride off with another but was detained and searched by the police. He was found in possession of a bag containing 7.3g of cocaine and various wraps as well as £514, an iPhone, and a burner phone.

A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court heard police then attended Green's home in Llanon Road, Llanishen, and found various amounts of cocaine and cannabis resin, more than £1,000 in cash, various designer clothes, another burner phone, weighing scales, a spliff, a motorbike helmet, a knuckleduster, and a Rambo knife.
Police became suspicious about the amount of expensive clothes as the defendant was unemployed and had no income apart from benefits. Messages were also found on the burner phones which were related to drug dealing. The total worth of the drugs were found were between £5,200 and £10,000.
Green later pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of criminal property. The court heard he had no previous convictions accept for two cautions when he was a youth.
Defence barrister Tom Roberts said his client's business mainly related to cannabis despite the fact he sold Class A drugs. He added that the defendant was young, immature, and remorseful.
Sentencing , Recorder Andrew Hammond said: "You're living at home with your mother, have no qualifications because you were excluded from school in year nine, and you're on benefits. You were a heavy user of cannabis smoking it on a daily basis. You have given no explanation as to why you became involved in this enterprise – you simply said you 'just did it'."
Green was sentenced to a total of 32 months imprisonment. He was also made subject to Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings to determine how much money he made from drug dealing.
