He's best known for playing Sam Blakeman on Coronation Street but actor Jude Riordan is currently sitting his Sats (Standard Assessment Tests) at school away from the cobbles.
The youngster has been flooded with good luck messages after letting fans know he was due to have a big week at school. Jude took to Instagram, which is run by his parents, on Monday morning (May 9) with a message to his fellow year six students who will also be taking their final primary school exams this week. He posted an image which showed various pictures and said: "SATS don't measure sports, SATS don't measure art, SATS don't measure music or the kindness in your heart," M.E.N reports.
The message went on: "SATS don't see your magic, how you make others smile. SATS don't time how quickly you can run a mile. SATS don't hear your laughter, or see you've come this far. SATS are just a tiny glimpse of who you really are. So sitting at the table with a pencil and your test. We don't need SATS to tell us: You're amazing and have tried your best."
Alongside the images, Jude wrote: "We have got this Year 6. We are almost there. SATS week is here. Two crazy years of school or NO school or little school. WE ARE MORE THAN A TEST."
He added: "Good luck to everyone taking SATS this week. My school are doing a breakfast week for Y6 so our tums are full and we have time to settle."
Jude was soon being flooded with supportive messages from fans. But first, there was message from his former on-screen mum Rachel Leskovac who played Natasha Blakeman. She wrote: "This is amazing just like you."

@daisydoll77944 said: "Those words are wonderful and very very true......all the best Jude," while @jennyhw70 shared: "Best of luck to you , your friends and to all year 6’s!!! These exams do not measure how good you all are at all!!"
Ahead of his big week at school, Jude enjoyed a day with his family as he brought them along to the cobbles. The young soap star took to Instagram to share some snaps alongside his older brother, Zach, and his parents. He shared a snap of the siblings peering from behind the wall in the street's back alleys while another snap showed the family soaking up the sun while treading the cobbles.
"Sam & Oscar mucking about in the ginnel," he captioned the post after sharing a snap of himself alongside co-stars Isabella and William Flanagan, who play Hope Stape and Joseph Brown, and their Emmerdale star sister Amelia, who stars in the rival ITV soap as April Windsor.
