A mother of a five-year-old has issued a stark warning to parents after her little boy died in a tragic balloon accident.
The youngster spent six days in intensive care, after trying to climb into a large, helium dinosaur balloon which he had got from an annual funfair in Newcastle, called The Hoppings.
Lisa Donaghey, 43, told of how she found her son on the floor of their home in Dunston, Gateshead, with the balloon over his head and neck.
