Walmart has dropped some serious Flash Deals this week — early Black Friday deals sitewide are not that far off with the sale starting on November 11th — offering some huge savings across a range of homeware categories right now.
Let me be clear: I'm not interested in any old savings, at Walmart or otherwise; I'm a Livingetc Style Editor with a particular brief: to hunt down the chicest of buys, whether once-in-a-lifetime investments from high end designers or affordable but super stylish finds from the retailers we all shop all the time. Walmart is one of those stores, and while you might visit to stock up on basics, let me assure you, there are some seriously good-looking, high quality homewares you can pop in your basket, along with houseplants and cleaning products.
My top selection is below, along with a list of links to the most useful pages for Walmart home shoppers. I'll be updating this page as Black Friday approaches, and you can visit our best home deals for great discoveries from more of your favorite retailers.

Best Walmart Deals
Below, I've listed the best deals at Walmart based on style and pricing. See? You can get chic for cheap.
Walmart Kitchen On Sale
If you've been wanting to get your hands on Drew Barrymore's 'Beautiful' collection, now is the perfect time. While the discounts aren't huge, they definitely help. My favorite has got to be the sweet cornflower blue colorway, which comes in a waffle maker, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, panini press, and more (all discounted).
Just look at that color. Yes, a bold color like this may not be your first choice for something as staple as your cookware, but when it’s this heavily discounted and this gorgeously timeless, I think it’s a safe bet. Just imagine the comments come your next dinner party. These won’t be pots you stuff in the dishwasher before your guests arrive (although they are dishwasher safe). They are also suitable for gas, electric, induction and ceramic stovetops, feature soft grip comfort handles, and come with 4.⅘ stars after 701 reviews.
This 4.8/5-star cookware set is a monochromatic dream for design lovers. The sleek silhouettes are so elevated you might just serve straight from the pot. But the best part? The handles are detachable, making dishwashing and storage a breeze. Functional and fabulous? Yes, please.
Walmart Furniture On Sale
I never would have guessed this chic entryway bench came from Walmart! It’s a stylish surprise, perfect for adding a novel touch to foyers with its nine boucle cushion rolls. Not only does it add dimension, but it also makes for a cozy, comfy seat when you’re taking off or putting on your shoes by the door. And I’m not the only one who’s impressed — this gem boasts a perfect 5-star rating. Pair it with a rug underneath and an art piece above, and voilà!
I’ll be candid: at a sale price of $499, you’re not getting a high-end sofa. Yes, assembly is required, but hear me out — this is one of the best Walmart sofas, a fantastic starter or office sofa. Its soft chenille upholstery looks surprisingly stylish for the price, especially with its sleek gold legs. Compact in size and convertible, it’s perfect for apartment living or anyone who moves frequently. Plus, it’s available in light blue, gray, white, and yellow!
Rattan has a breezy, transportive quality like no other, and this generously sized dresser feels like a visual vacation you’ll never want to leave. The design is blissfully simple, and the drawers glide smoothly and silently — what more could you ask for? Some assembly is required, but at this price point, it’s a trade-off I’m more than willing to make.
Walmart Decor On Sale
Olive plants — real or faux — are just so chic. They add an organic, curated touch to any space. This 6-foot beauty is perfect for filling that lonely corner or standing tall beside a large sofa. No sun needed. Pop it in a ceramic planter, and because it's such a realistic artificial plant, no one will ever guess it's faux.
Rugs this size usually cost several hundred dollars — at least. But this beauty comes in at under $150 and is machine washable, making it ideal for homes with pets, kids, or anyone prone to spilling a little red wine. Its vintage-style design, with an intentionally weathered, storied look, brings a soft elegance to any space. It's one of the best rugs for adding character to a living room without overshadowing your existing decor.
There are a few modern industrial design stores I love that I could easily see selling this lamp — and let me tell you, they aren’t cheap. Elongated styles like this typically go for upwards of $300, so my advice is to run, not walk, to snag this steal of a deal. It’s the perfect piece to place beside an armchair for that cool, industrial look straight off your Pinterest board.
When Does The Walmart Black Friday Sale Start?
Walmart's Black Friday sale starts online on November 11th at 12pm ET for Walmart+ members and at 5pm for everyone else. You can sign up to Walmart+ for a 30 day free trial, which means if you sign up the week the sale starts, it will see you through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The in store Walmart Black Friday sale starts at 6am local on November 29th.
Look out for a new batch of deals on November 25th, again, at 12pm ET for Walmart+ members and at 5pm for everyone else.
Walmart's Cyber Monday sale starts online on December 1st, with deals dropping at 5pm ET for Walmart+ members and at 8pm for everyone else.
Are Walmart Black Friday Deals Any Good?
In short, yes. Walmart's Black Friday sale page is primed for action, with the sale starting at 5pm ET online on November 11th, and in stores on November 15th at 6am local. Discounts are currently slated at up to 70% off. Product quantities are said to be limited/while supplies last, and select items may not be available in-store, so we would suggest shopping online.
As Lindsey said above, Walmart+ members get access to early Walmart Black Friday deals, plus free shipping and other benefits (check the terms and conditions when you sign up).
When Is the Best Time to Get a Walmart Deal?
Like any other big-box retailer, Walmart holds sales during all the key deal dates. That’s Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
"Walmart runs sale throughout the year, but the peak season for discounts really starts in October with the Walmart Holiday Deals event, which this year ran from October 8th to October 13th. There are still savings across a range of homeware categories, but the next big event is Walmart's Black Friday sale event, which is going to be offering up to 70% off a huge selection of products," says Lindsey Davis, Content Director for Ecommerce at Livingetc.
"The Walmart Black Friday sale will extend beyond Cyber Monday and into the run up to Christmas; I'd expect similar discounts to continue in the after-Christmas sale, too, though stock may be more scarce by then.
"Bear in mind that you can become a Walmart+ member for early deals across all sales, plus free shipping and other benefits (check the terms and conditions when you sign up!)."
Walmart also holds a “Walmart Deals” event in early July, a mega-deals extravaganza across categories. This year was July 8th to 11th, so expect a similar timeframe for 2025. It’s like Christmas in summer!
Approaching fall, you can count on Walmart to offer Back-to-School deals, which include the obvious — writing utensils, binders, and notepads — but you can also score some sweet electronic deals during this time, too.
And finally, Walmart’s tagline isn’t “Save money. Live better.” for nothing! You can find deals every day of the week (and especially on weekdays!). Included in these daily steals is the Walmart clearance section, which has some serious gems under the $100, $50, and $25 mark.
Are Walmart Black Friday Deals Better Than After Christmas Walmart Deals?
"While Walmart will of course have stocked up for its Black Friday event, note that its Black Friday sale page does currently say, 'Limited quantities. While supplies last. No rain checks.' This means, as ever, that if you see something you want on sale at Walmart during the Black Friday period, you should snap it up because, though it might still be on sale after Christmas, there's no guarantee that it will be any cheaper, and it's more than likely that it will have sold out and no longer be available," advises Lindsey Davis.
"What you will find better deals on after Christmas at Walmart are discounted holiday decorations, end of season products, such as cozy bedding, or anything overtly wintry. After Christmas, Walmart will be looking to clear the decks to make way for spring collections."
Does Walmart Have Hidden Clearance?
Shh! Just between us, the answer is yes — Walmart does indeed have hidden clearance sales. You can discover these secret deals by venturing down several sneaky (but very simple) avenues.
Among them is keeping your eyes peeled during the first five days of each month — this is when new clearance deals tend to crop up. You can also download the Walmart app, which allows you to scan barcodes and verify if any item has been recently discounted. If it has, then congratulations! You’ve found a hidden clearance deal.
Though, perhaps my favorite way to uncover hidden clearance deals is by following Walmart on Instagram, particularly the hashtags #walmartclearance, #walmartclearancefinds, and #walmarthiddenclearance. This is the best way to remain abreast of the latest deals without constantly trawling the Walmart website.
Now that you’re in the know, you’ll spot these Walmart deals left and right!
