US President Donald Trump confronted CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday after she asked him when the war with Iran would end.

CNN chief media analyst Brian Stelter shared a video of the exchange on X. In the video, Collins is heard asking Trump: “Two thirds of Americans don't think the US is winning the war with Iran. When will it end?”
Trump did not answer the question directly. Instead, he told Collins: “You should not be here covering me. You said you weren't going to cover me. You shouldn't be covering me.”
Collins later responded on X, saying CNN journalists were at the UN because they had been credentialed by the United Nations to cover the General Assembly.
