You're not out of kitchen space, you just need this $3 IKEA find that holds everything from utensils to dish towels

White ikea kitchen.

Small kitchen? Even smaller budget? Lots of stuff to hide away and off your cluttered countertops? I feel you — I am always searching for space-efficient storage solutions for my home, but I am especially always on the hunt for storage hacks for my small kitchen.

My pantry is currently full to the brim — you won't fit much else in there, I promise. Under my sink is currently one of those throw it in and hope for the best situations, and there's not much spare storage space in any of my cabinets. Before you say it: I've already gone through them all, and given what I can to Goodwill.

So, while I was on the hunt for genius buys to extend my kitchen storage space, I came across something very affordable (and undeniably handy in elsewhere other than just the kitchen) at IKEA.

For just $3, the brand new to store ÖBONÄS Triple hook will soon be fitted in several different spots in my home. To house everything from cleaning rags that are waiting to be used, to my toddler's bibs, my oven mitt, and even utensils. This way, I can get my countertops clear, and the things I use daily will always be in easy reach.

This is a great storage hack for renters, or for those who aren't keen on drilling holes in their walls. How to fit it? Simply turn the hook around so that you can see its back, and peel the cover off the suction cup part. Ensure that your wall is clean and dry, ready for it to sit on, and then press the suction cup against the wall, where you'd like it to live. Press hard and wait a few hours before using it to hold anything.

What else can you use it for? As well as for cleaning rags, toddler bibs and kitchen utensils, this would be great used in a bathroom for hand towels. And you could even stick it to a shower screen for flannel storage or for hanging body brushes or a squeegee on, too.

What about removal? Grab a card of some sort — something thin and made from plastic — and slide this underneath the suction cup, in between that and the wall. It should just pop right off! Simple.

The rest of the line...
