PATNA: In the backdrop of the first two devastating Covid waves, state revenue and land reforms minister from BJP quota, Ram Surat Rai, has been spreading a combination of hubris and false information to placate people of his constituency, who have become anxious about the slow pace of development and demanding more.
In a viral video, probably of the last week, shows the minister as telling a large group of people in his Aurai assembly constituency in Muzaffarpur district that it was actually the mass immunization done using the "anti-Covid vaccine invented by PM Modi" that they had survived.
