Darren Bent has revealed the details of a text exchange with Jordan Henderson, with the former England international receiving a glowing review of the teenage star from the Liverpool captain.
Henderson scored England's opening goal during their 3-0 win against Senegal in the World Cup last-16, with his left-footed finish assisted by the Borussia Dortmund star. The pair appear to have developed a strong relationship, with their celebration in particular demonstrating a strong bond between the midfield duo.
Bellingham continues to be linked with a move to Anfield, with the Reds said to be leading the way for a transfer as Bellingham's representatives appear to favour a move to Merseyside. The 19-year-old's contract expires in June 2025 but he could be available in the summer for between €100m and €150million.

With such exciting developments for Liverpool, a glowing review from their captain only adds to the excitement and Bent sharing the exchange with his former Sunderland teammate Henderson provides an insight into what he thinks of the former Birmingham City academy star.
Speaking on TalkSport, the former Tottenham, Aston Villa and Sunderland star said: “Bellingham’s incredible, he’s only 19 years old and plays with a kind of fearlessness, doesn’t he?” He added. “He can take the ball, go past people, create opportunities. He is an incredible talent.
“I really like what he’s done. He went from Birmingham, nurtured his talents and went to Borussia Dortmund, who have polished him off and made him into a world-beater.
“He could be one of the best midfielders in the world because he’s got all the attributes. He’s quick, he’s strong, he’s powerful, he can score a goal and can see a pass.
“I messaged Hendo the other day and I said, ‘Jude Bellingham, what a player.'
“All he messaged me back was, ‘You have no idea.'”
Liverpool face a battle to sign the player, with PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all said to be interested in the Borussia Dortmund man. However, reports which have come out in recent days are positive for Liverpool in their quest to bolster their midfield.
