You don't actually have to fight Arc Raiders deadly new robot to get its parts

Arc Raiders Turbines: Three Turbine enemies hovering next to a large tower with a player standing on it.

Arc Raiders' new Turbines are legit terrifying. I'm not sure if it's peel of thunder that rolls across the map as they drop from the sky like a vengeful robot angel, or how tricky they can be to approach due to all the mines and lightning they throw at you—either way, they're not the easiest foe to defeat with a few players, let alone solo.

Well, the good news is that you don't necessarily need to. As is usual for each new enemy, the Arc Turbine drops the Turbine Compressor material you'll have to use in the current project, Avian Alarm, but you'll also need it to craft the new Powered Descender item (though I'm not sure why you'd want to, considering its effectiveness).

Besides trying to kill Arc Turbines, it turns out that you can get Turbine Compressors from Arc Couriers as well. Similar to Vaporizer Regulators, these are somewhat rare drops considering they're epic materials, but if you hit every Arc Courier you spot, you'll likely get one or two, which is all you need for the project.

Arc Couriers are rarely contested, so this might make things a lot easier if you're struggling to take down the Turbine. If you're looking for an area with lots of couriers, try the swamp on Dam Battlegrounds or the Electromagnetic Storm map condition which spawns Couriers more.

Otherwise, if you're looking for the fastest way to destroy an Arc Turbine, you'll want to wait until it lands and either stick Deadlines to it before ducking in cover, or plink away at it from range with a Hullcracker, both of which you can buy daily from the Speranza traders. The Turbine's weak spots are the spinning yellow cylinders at its core, so that's what you're aiming for.

Just be careful not to shoot it while it's in the air, as it's heavily armored, and will simply rain down more lightning on you. Bide your time and wait for it to land before you strike.
