Nicky Butt has told Manchester United to 'go all out' for Mauricio Pochettino as their search for a permanent manager continues.
The Manchester Evening News recently reported that Ajax boss Erik ten Hag had been interviewed for the position at Old Trafford. This came after it was revealed that Ten Hag is the United board's preferred candidate for the role.
While Julen Lopetegui and Luis Enrique have both been touted as potential targets, Ten Hag and Pochettino are understood to be frontrunners in the race to be appointed United manager. With the selection process continuing, former United midfielder Butt has explained why he believes the Paris Saint-Germain boss is the right man for the job.

He told FourFourTwo : "United need stability. They can’t keep having interim managers or learners in very powerful positions.
"They need people who’ve been there, seen it and done it. I’d go all-out to get Mauricio Pochettino as manager.
"He’s proven in the Premier League, he’s young and enthusiastic, his style of play would suit United and his backroom staff seem switched on. I met him a couple of times at Spurs’ training ground and had lunch.
"You’d want to play for him." Pochettino's job could well be under threat at the end of the season after PSG's early exit from this season's Champions League.
