A dream job opportunity has arisen for rum lovers at a popular Newcastle cocktail bar.
Revolución de Cuba is offering a Rum Residency, giving one successful applicant the chance to get paid for drinking rum. The Havana-inspired cocktail bar group, which has 18 sites across the UK including in Newcastle city centre , will give the lucky recruit £1,000 to try and critique the range of rum cocktails that they have to offer.
The brand is on the hunt for someone with a real passion for rum and ‘barrels of enthusiasm’ to take on the job. The role will involve joining Revolución de Cuba’s expert team for a day of rum sampling, as well as being included in their cocktail development session to help create future cocktails for the menu.
