You Can Watch One of the WNBA’s Most Highly Anticipated Matchups for Under $20

The WNBA’s two superteams will go head to head for the first time this regular season when the Liberty travel to Las Vegas to take on the Aces. Thursday’s matchup will feature this year’s two All-Star captains, the Aces’ A’ja Wilson and the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, in a game many predict could preview the WNBA Finals.

Seats at the Michelob Ultra Arena are available for as little as $14, with the average ticket price for the event being $52, per SI Tickets. That is quite the deal to catch one of the most highly anticipated games of the 2023 WNBA season.

The Liberty will have their work cut out for them, with the reigning WNBA champion Aces boasting a perfect 7–0 home record to start the season. New York’s 4–1 road run will be put to the test, as the Liberty make the cross-country trek to Las Vegas fresh off a Tuesday trip to Uncasville, Conn., where the team meets the No. 2 ranked Sun. Las Vegas fans are known to show up as well, with the club holding the third-largest attendance record (8,707) for the 2023 season, per Across the Timeline.

Expect Thursday’s matchup to be explosive, as the two teams stand atop the league’s offensive rankings (Las Vegas at No. 1 with a 113 ranking and the Liberty at No. 2 at 107.3). The contest also features four All-Star starters, previewing the All-Star Game, which will also be hosted by Las Vegas. Seats to July’s All-Star Game start at just $43, according to SI Tickets, with floor seats available for $3,000—if you’re willing to splurge.
