Unlike other Echo Show devices, the Show 15 is designed to be mounted on a wall or used with a stand that is sold separately. It looks like a sizable picture frame or a miniature Samsung Frame TV with a sizable bezel. That wall mount is included in the box and can be used to mount the display either vertically or horizontally.
If you plan on watching movies or TV shows through the Fire TV interface, we’d recommend mountain it horizontally like a traditional TV. Only some streaming services support viewing with black bars vertically and it makes better use of the TV.
With that Fire TV app though, you get a full-fledged interface that looks identical to a Fire TV Stick or even a Fire TV Omni QLED. You can stream from Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV+, and countless others. It does support touch interactions and some limited voice controls, but it is a good idea to opt for an Alexa voice remote. The bundle price of $224.98 is a solid deal as it’s 19% off.

Fire TV fun aside, the Echo Show 15 is the Alexa smart display in the lineup. The display offers a good view for streaming content, but also acts as an excellent photo display and for viewing text. You can also use the Echo Show 15 as a communal digital whiteboard with the ability to leave reminders or sticky notes for other family members.
When you ask Alexa for the weather there will be the usual vocal response alongside some visuals. It could be showing a rain cloud if that depicts the weather and even an extended forecast graphic.
Via a built-in camera you can use the Show 15 for video calls or to monitor your home when you’re away. It’s not the world's-greatest lens though at just 5-megapixels. Point being, get this for the larger display and TV streaming chops, not for video calls.
