Crazy golf is a very popular activity with many different sites across Wales that everyone can enjoy. ZipWorld, the brand behind several activity sights in north and south Wales has now opened underground crazy golf.
The crazy golf is set in a cavern 500ft underground and is the world's first cavern-style underground golf course. Accessible only by Europe's steepest cable railway the course has a full 18 holes and bright neon lights will guide players through the cave across the four levelled course, with each hole offering a new challenge and showcasing a distinctive theme of slate mining.
You can find the crazy golf at the ZipWorld Llechwedd site in north Wales and there will also be dramatic sound effects and interactive elements along the course. The crazy golf is open now and you can book online.

Sean Taylor, Founder of Zip World, said: “It’s always a great feeling being able to announce a brand-new attraction and the launch of Underground Golf is no exception. We were keen to introduce an activity that was inclusive to families and groups of people of all ages without taking away the thrill and excitement factor."
Sean also gave away a hint about the end of the golf course saying that it ended in a slide. Ticket prices for underground golf start at £7. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
