Romantics and drama enthusiasts among us were devastated when Married At First Sight Australia finished last month. But with Married At First Sight UK's return in just a few months, we won't have to wait long to watch from our sofa as singletons from up and down the country search for a partner.
But if you are unlucky in love, yourself, Mel Schilling - one of three love and dating experts on Married At First Sight - has revealed that applications are now open for the next season of Married At First Sight UK, set to air in 2024.
And if you are up for the challenge of meeting your "soulmate" at the altar, sitting through dramatic dinner parties and being grilled by three psychologists and love experts, then keep reading. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
If you're new here, Married At First Sight sees strangers enter into an experiment in which they are matched, via a series of data and interviews. They then meet, for the first time, on their wedding day at the end of the altar, exchange vows, and for several months live in and out of each other's pockets, learning about each other and, hopefully, finding true love. Read more on that here.
And despite the third series not having yet aired on E4 (while, yes, it is technically series 8, Channel 4 confirm that it is being referred to as series three as it has only been on that particular channel for that length of time), Mel is already advertising for new lovebirds to sign up to its fourth season.
Taking to Instagram, the Australian psychologist wrote: "Married at First Sight UK is back for a fourth series! Are you unlucky in love and ready to be brave? @e4mafsuk Apply for #masfsuk now via this link: https://shortaudition.com/MAFSUK4
"It’s never too late to find THE ONE!"
To get through, you'll need to fill in a short application form to complete your profile along with a set of other questions, your social media handles and a picture of yourself.
While last year's coupling only saw one duo stand the test of time, this year's, 2023, is set to be even bigger and on a 'different level' to last. Read more on that here. To apply for the 2024 series of Married At First Sight UK, click on the link here.
