It's time to get your skates on as a synthetic ice rink is coming to Neath and Port Talbot town centres this month.
Neath Port Talbot Council has announced the aptly-named "Skating in the Town Centre" event is skating into Neath on February 11 and 12, and to Port Talbot on February 18 and 19.
People of all ages will be able to skate to their heart's content, for just £3 per person for a 30-minute slot.
Locals have said they want to see further events like this taking part in the town centres - and some have called for ice skating in Pontardawe and Ystalyfera too.
While it's not yet known whether the skating event will be extended to other town centres, four days of skating have been confirmed across Neath and Port Talbot.
The skating event will be open from 1pm to 6pm on Friday, February 11, and from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, February 12, in Angel Square, Neath, and from 1pm to 6pm on Friday, February 18, and 11am to 6pm on Saturday, February 19, at the Transport Hub in Port Talbot.
In a post on social media, Neath Port Talbot Council said: "Town centre event: Any budding winter Olympic Ice Skaters in the county borough? Why not try out your skills on our synthetic ice skating rinks. There’s no need to travel to Beijing or Cardiff, this is coming to a town centre near you!
"Entry is cash only during the event and is on a first come, first served basis."
