Yorkshire mum saved enough money on food through apps she took family to Florida

A mother from Yorkshire has managed to save so much money from using free food apps that she took her family on holiday to Florida.

Sarah Colley, from Scarborough, has saved an average of £30 a week by doing her weekly food shop via app Too Good To Go.

Free food apps, Too Good To Go and OLIO, are helping families save money on food bills by connecting supermarkets and neighbours who want to get rid of their surplus supplies rather than going to waste.
