Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed his Ministers as well as public servants to declare their assets publicly.
He also instructed the Ministers and IAS and PCS officers to declare the assets of their family members. Issuing the instructions at a special Cabinet meeting, he stated that “for a health democracy, upright conduct of public representatives is necessary.”
The Chief Minister directed his Ministers and their family members to declare all their moveable and immovable property within three months of taking oath.
All public servants (IAS and PCS officers) would also need to make similar declarations. This information must be uploaded on a portal for the perusal of common public, he observed.
All Ministers must also ensure that there was no interference by their family members in government work, he added.
