If you are waiting for a last minute Christmas gift to arrive, or you've been told to expect something to arrive in the post soon, then you could be waiting a bit longer.
It comes as Yodel are experiencing delays in certain postcodes - including several across Glasgow.
And with Royal Mail delays also in full swing with strikes ongoing, people will naturally be eager to get theirs as they peak out of the blinds to see if the delivery van is turning up.

But for many it won't be with Yodel warning people that they could be waiting "a couple of extra days" for parcels to be delivered.
In a statement on its website, the company said: "Our teams are working really hard to deliver all of your parcels to you."
