Shares of Yes Bank gained 3% to Rs 21.22 on the BSE on Monday after the private lender released its provisional business update for the July-September quarter of the ongoing financial year 2027, reporting a nearly 24% surge in loans and advances, while deposits grew around 20% during the period.
The company on Sunday reported that its loans and advances stood at around Rs 3.1 lakh crore at the end of the second quarter of FY27, marking 23.8% year-on-year growth from the Rs 2.5 lakh crore loan book reported in the same period of FY26, and 8.6% sequential rise from the Rs 2.85 crore reported in the first quarter of the ongoing financial year 2027.
