Yelp is making a big bet that people turn to its expansive collection of business information and reviews for answers rather than opinions with its newly upgraded Yelp Assistant. The conversational AI chatbot, which debuted earlier this year, was initially focused on service businesses, but now encompasses any type of business. There's a little extra focus on restaurants, which fits as restaurant reviews are what Yelp is best known for.
