Merseyside is set for another cold day as the Met Office issues a yellow ice warning.
The region will experience frosty conditions that forecasters say may lead to challenging travel conditions today, on Friday, January 20. The cold weather has already lead to Merseyrail cancelling rush hour train services but experts are also warning drivers to be careful on the roads.
It's set to be a crisp day with plenty of winter sunshine today but there is also a small chance of freezing fog patches lingering into the afternoon. Despite the frosty conditions, temperatures may hit 6C.
