GREATER NOIDA: With the Noida airport project gaining steam, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is planning to develop a hub of industries involved in making aircraft parts. The civil aviation cluster is being planned on 500 acres in Sector 10 of the YEIDA area.
Officials said YEIDA was planning to allot around 250 plots — each measuring 2 acres or more — in June to companies involved in making aircraft parts and machinery. A maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centre for the aircraft is also likely to come up.
