Years more jail for Cheryl Ardler's killer over rape

The man who killed Cheryl Ardler has been given more time behind bars for raping another partner. (PR HANDOUT IMAGE PHOTO) (AAP)

Years after killing his ex-partner Cheryl Ardler and disposing of her body, Dennis Andrew French raped another girlfriend, threatening her with a hammer before detaining her in their home.

French, 43, is already behind bars over the manslaughter of Ms Ardler who was killed in December 12, 2012.
