Remember playing wiffle ball as a kid and laughing as you struck out a buddy with a pitch that broke like 94 feet and had no chance of ever being hit by said buddy?
Yeah, those were some fun times.
Why am I bringing up these wiffle ball memories, you ask? Because last night Yankees pitcher Michael King threw an 83 mph pitch in Baltimore that sure looked like one of those throws you’d make in your back yard.
Orioles first baseman Trey Mancini tried to make contact with this breaking ball but he had no chance and could only take off his helmet and make his way out to his position after his inning-ending strike out.
