Yami Gautam has addressed speculation about how much she was paid for her special appearance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The actor dismissed reports claiming she received a “very big fat cheque” for the cameo, saying the opportunity to work with director Aditya Dhar was worth more than money. Yami spoke about the experience on the Marathi quiz show Kon Honaar Crorepati, hosted by Madhuri Dixit. During their conversation, Madhuri praised the film and asked Yami whether she had been paid for her appearance or whether Aditya had simply requested her to be part of the project.
Responding to the question, Yami said she was surprised to read reports suggesting that she had received a substantial amount for the role. “I read somewhere that I got a very big fat cheque for the cameo, and I was like, what is this? But I think some things are priceless,” she said.
