Yamaha R2 launched in India: New 204cc bike focusing on lightweight sits above R15; check price, engine, variants, riding modes and key specifications

Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the new YZF-R2 in the country, positioning the 204cc supersport above the popular R15 in its R-series line-up. The motorcycle comes in three variants and gets a 204cc liquid-cooled engine producing 26.5hp and 19.1Nm.

The new Yamaha R2 also brings features such as traction control, a slipper clutch, three riding modes and dual-channel ABS across the range. Prices start at Rs 2.30 lakh and go up to Rs 2.53 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
