Last year at EICMA, I spotted Yamaha's YE-01 electric motocross concept hiding amongst its ICE siblings. Well, it's not hiding anymore.
Yamaha just announced that it's going to display and conduct an exhibition run of its YE-01 Racing Concept at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations 2026 (MXoN 2026). It's going to hit the track at Ernée, France, although it's unclear what day the YE-01 will actually take to the dirt during the event, which runs from October 2-4. Unfortunately, there's no competition for this concept to compete in, but that won't always be the case.
