Arsenal's impressive start to the 2022/23 season continued last night with a 2-0 win over Wolves. Mikel Arteta's men stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League table to five points following Manchester City's shock defeat to Brentford earlier in the day.
Skipper Martin Odegaard bagged a second half brace for the Gunners in a game that they dominated throughout. There were also more positives on the injury front, with Arsenal's World Cup stars escaping any injuries too, though midfielder Granit Xhaka was forced off with what looked like sickness in the 16th minute.
The Switzerland captain was replaced by Portuguese playmaker Fabio Vieira not long after receiving treatment on the field. Vieira, who was criticised for his performance in midweek, created Odegaard's first goal in a much-improved performance.
