Barcelona manager Xavi has expressed his intentions of signing Chelsea-linked Endrick from Palmeiras.
The 16-year-old is the latest prodigy from Brazil to attract scouting departments from around Europe. Chelsea are among the teams monitoring the attacker but face competition from the likes of Manchester United as well as Spanish giants Barca and Real Madrid.
He became the youngest player to appear for Palmeiras' first team in October at the tender age of 16 years, two months and 16 days. Already in the infancy of his career, he has scored three goals in the Brazilian Serie A following a hugely successful spell in the club's youth academy.
