'X-Men' actress Olivia Munn opens up about breast cancer diagnosis days after walking Oscar red-carpet; says she underwent a double mastectomy

Olivia Munn revealed Wednesday that she had undergone a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The 'X-Men: Apocalypse' actress took to Instagram to share the shocking news with her fans and friends, just days after she attended the Oscars ceremony with her partner, comedian John Mulaney.

Taking to her handle, the 43-year-old shared a photo from her hospital bed and shared a lengthy statement along with a caption that read, "I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey."
