Wylam Brewery to host Slice Wars pizza competition featuring region's favourite food vendors

The quest to find Newcastle's perfect pizza is approaching as Wylam Brewery prepares for the return of their popular Slice Wars competition.

At least 12 local food vendors will be pitching at Exhibition Park later this month to battle it out for the title of Newcastle's best pizza. Scream for Pizza, Log Pizza Co and Fire & Dough are just some of the favourite vendors returning for this year's competition.

Newcomers Square and Wild Fire Pizza will also be hoping to win over the public with their mouth-watering creations. There will also be an abundance of sides, including loaded fries, sweet treats, and coffees, as well as plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians.
