WWE legend The Undertaker to be inducted into 2022 Hall of Fame

WWE icon The Undertaker will be inducted into the 2022 Hall of Fame on April 1.

The Phenom, real name Mark Callaway, ended his glittering career in November 2020 after 30 awe-inspiring years.

Now he will have the company’s biggest honour bestowed upon him ahead of WrestleMania 38 in his home state of Texas.

The Undertaker is one of the most popular superstars in WWE history and a pop culture icon.

After making his WWE debut at the 1990 Survivor Series , “The Deadman” went on to hold nearly every major Championship in WWE and has competed in some of the most memorable matches in history over his illustrious three-decade career.

In addition, The Undertaker recorded an historic consecutive 21-year WrestleMania undefeated streak that may never be broken.

He went on to win seven world championships and seven tag team titles in WWE, and is arguably the greatest character in WWE history.

His ability to evolve and keep with the times is arguably his greatest quality, and he has treated fans to many memorable moments.

He morphed into the ‘Ministry of Darkness’ in the late 90s throughout the famed Attitude Era, before assuming a biker identity, dubbed "American Badass", in 2000 and after four years returned to the original Phenom character.

Taker ended his phenomenal career against AJ Styles in the cinematic Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020.

The legend burying Styles in a grave before riding off into the night on his motorbike was a fitting end to his time as a professional grappler.

In that same year, The Undertaker featured in the WWE Network docuseries “Undertaker: The Last Ride”, which offered fans a rare insight into the man behind the character.

It was praised by both fans and critics and made his “Final Farewell” at that year’s Survivor Series .

Additional 2022 WWE Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in the near future.

Many fans have been waiting for the moment to honour arguably wrestling's greatest ever wrestler, and they won't have to wait much longer.
