WWE cameras were forced to immediately cut to black during coverage of this weekend’s Wrestlemania 38, after Charlotte Flair’s nipple slipped from her outfit live on air. The 35-year-old took on former UFC champion Ronda Rousey during the event on Saturday night.
Flair no doubt came away happy after successfully defending her WWE title against her ex-MMA star opponent. Despite the victory, there was a slight problem for the fighter after she suffered an wardrobe malfunction partway through the fight.
This ‘nip slip’ clearly led to sheer panic in the TV director’s room, as live coverage of the signature WWE event immediately cut to a black screen following the exposure. This wasn’t the first time Flair’s outfit had let slip, after previously going through something similar back in 2020.
Following her win, Flair was over the moon with victory and also spoke highly of Rousey and the positivity the UFC champion has brought to the WWE arena. She said: “I think what people don’t realise is that she wanted to come here.
“No one went after her, so everyone should be proud of what we’ve accomplished here and the buzz we’ve created and the women’s evolution and being able to main-event pay-per-views, Raw and SmackDown. That’s a testament to what we’ve done here, that she wants to come here and be a part of what we’ve done.

“Sometimes people get critical of outside talent coming in, but she wants to be a part of what we’ve done here. That should make you feel good, and she does bring more eyeballs to people who aren’t necessarily familiar with the product, like Total Divas.
“Total Divas brought outside viewers and that’s great for us. I want Bad Bunny to come back! He was incredible. It’s an entertainment show. That’s what we do."
The 35-year-old star joined WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin in securing a victory on the night after he beat Kevin Owens. As well as a stalwart securing victory, one of the sport’s fresher faces also picked up a Wrestlemania win after YouTube star Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio.
