WWE Clash at the Castle: Last minute ticket availability as fans snap up bargain seats for show

WWE's Clash at the Castle will take place at Cardiff's Principality Arena this weekend, the central event in a weekend of fun which sees tens of thousands of wrestling fans travel to Wales from around Europe to join the festivities.

Some tickets for the show, which will see British wrestler Drew McIntyre take on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event, are still available via Ticketmaster here from £46.89. Meanwhile, fans who can't make it to the weekend can watch it live on BT Sport 3 at no extra cost if they're an existing subscriber or using a £25 No-Contract Monthly Sport Pass if they're new to the service.

Fans coming to the city to enjoy the event in person will have lots to enjoy before the starting bell, with businesses across the city preparing themselves for a busy weekend and a host of complementary events planned. Language app Duolingo has even created a wrestling-themed guide to the Welsh language for beginners to help visitors.

Hall of Famer and wrestling legend The Undertaker is doing two shows at the New Theatre on Friday talking about his career and life. As well as telling stories about his experiences in and out of the ring, he will be taking questions from fans at the event, which organisers have announced will be phone-free.

Aside from WWE, a host of indie shows and side events are in Wales for the weekend too, including Progress who are hosting two shows on Sunday and Scottish promotion ICW whose 11.30pm show takes place immediately after Clash at the Castle finishes. Meanwhile WrestleFest will see Tyson Fury, Hitman Bret Hart and a host of other famous names answering questions, signing autographs and posing for photos with fans across the weekend.

Elsewhere, a special WWE merchandise superstore is opening on Thursday (September 1) for the weekend on the lower level of St. David’s Dewi Sant Shopping Centre. Selling a wide range of WWE goodies, including special limited edition Cardiff WWE merchandise it will be open from 9am to 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and between 11am and 5pm on Sunday.

There will also be a merchandise trailer outside the Principality Stadium on Thursday and Friday.
