With 2K now dropping official news and teasing more information about WWE 2K26, the hype train is well underway. We just caught the scratched logo tease a couple of days ago courtesy of Logan Paul, and there are strong hints at CM Punk being the cover star. Just today, the official WWEGames X/Twitter account dropped a fun video of a handful of people guessing WWE 2K26‘s cover athlete, but that’s not what really matters.
The real spotlight is on the NXT stars featured in the video. Blake Monroe, Ricky Saints, Zaria, and Myles Borne are present in the video, which almost certainly confirms their appearance in the upcoming game. None of these NXT stars were a part of the WWE 2K25 roster.
More Roster Discussions

Zaria has been tearing it up since October 2024 alongside Sol Ruca, who debuted in WWE 2K25 last year. Ricky Saints jumped from AEW in February 2025, with Blake Monroe following soon. As for Myles Borne, he’s been with NXT since 2022, but this is the first time he’s making an appearance in the official game.
AAA is also tying up the heat with this upcoming release, with a roster leak teasing AAA talent earlier in January. While not officially confirmed yet, we are highly confident that AAA stars Mr. Iguana El Hijo del Vikingo will be featured. In case you’re unfamiliar, AAA (Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide) is a Mexican promotion recognizable for the high-flying Lucha Libre style. WWE acquired a controlling stake in AAA back in April 2025.
Other DLC whispers also point to Torrie Wilson, who hasn’t been in a WWE game officially since SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. Other female icons, such as Jacqueline Moore, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, and Ivory, currently hold a WWE Legends contract. The same leaker that leaked AAA’s inclusion also mentioned Jacqueline, but there’s no more news on the rest of the female wrestlers we just mentioned.
WWE 2K26 is also seeing the return of some fan favorite match types, including the “I Quit,” Inferno, and Three Stages of Hell matches. We’re also getting a new match type in the shape of something called a Dumpster Match.
