WWE 2K26 has a massive roster with plenty of new stars, but that doesn’t mean that returning wrestlers won’t be getting any love. From the official WWEGames Twitter/X account, Chelsea Green’s new entrance has been unveiled, and it looks great. It’s reported that Green herself did the proper mocap for this entrance, which is why the animation looks so good. Of course, she’s accompanied by the Secret Service members Piper Niven and Alba Fyre.
Just a couple of hours before unveiling Chelsea Green’s entrance, the Twitter/X account also posted the first look at Jey Uso’s entrance. As the crowd “yeets” along, you’ll notice the chants are louder, and the timing is a bit better. It’s a bit silly in some areas, but that cheesiness is a part of the charm, in our opinion. Jey’s model also looks great, and in some cases, it looks almost too good compared to the crowd visuals.
A Real Look At In-Game Graphical Improvements
Back in January, it was rumored that WWE 2K26 is ditching last-gen consoles, and that rumor is now true. We know that WWE 2K26 releases on March 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch 2. By dropping last-gen support, a lot of people were wondering if we were going to see noticeable improvements in graphical fidelity. The new entrances for Jey Uso and Chelsea Green might not look like much, but they are a real look at what the in-game experience is like.
The fact that models for both wrestlers look noticeably better is a win. If the animations and entrances for most of the other superstars are this good, we’re in for a treat presentation-wise. Let’s hope that more wrestlers have mocapped their own entrances. It provides better attention to detail and truly makes the superstars appear “real”.
Of course, dropping last-gen support also has other benefits. For example, WWE 2K26 developers have revealed that this decision also delivers major overhauls for Universe Mode and the Creation Suite. Finally, and I keep repeating this whenever I talk about the game, it’s worth understanding the different editions for WWE 2K26 before you pre-order. It’s a bit more confusing than you may think.
