Joe Hendry has been rumored to be a part of WWE 2K26 since his signing, but now, he is officially a part of the confirmed roster for WWE 2K26. As this is the first time Joe Hendry is appearing in the game, his debut entrance gained a lot of attention after revealed exclusively by IGN. Interestingly, in the video uploaded by IGN, Joe is showing up for an I Quit match against an unknown opponent. This is one of the returning modes for WWE 2K26.
The entrance also gives us a quick look at Booker T for the commentary. Unfortunately, the superstar’s facial model doesn’t look that great. You can still tell it’s Joe Hendry, but like an uncanny valley version of him.
Joe Hendry Is Looking Rough In WWE 2K26

This wrestler has been over with fans ever since his signing, with the whole “say his name and he’ll appear” shtick working well. Unfortunately, you can’t help but notice that 2K Games hasn’t done its due diligence here. For such a popular superstar, you’d expect them to get the facial model right at least.
There’s also the problem that he only smiles once when he initially turns around, but almost drops it immediately in an uncanny way. They also didn’t add his second turn and smile that he usually does in the ring for his entrance.
This reveal is in stark contrast to the Chelsea Green entrance reveal, which looked stellar. It was also a missed opportunity not to have the crowd singing along to the theme song. Some fans were obviously not particularly happy with this reveal, with one fan saying that “He looks like a Temu Joe Hendry” under the comment section of the reveal video.
Unfortunately, with WWE 2K26 bringing so many changes to the table in just one year, these types of mistakes are bound to happen. Maybe they’ll iron out these smaller kinks as the game releases, but only time will tell in that regard.
Fortunately, some of the bigger stuff is getting real attention. For example, The Island is getting a massive revamp, with CM Punk, Rhea Rhipley, and Cody Rhodes being involved in a faction-based rivalry.
