WWE 2K26 Creation Suite Upgrades Add Body Morphing and 60-Layer Attires

WWE 2K26 launches next month, and by dropping last-gen support for PS4 and Xbox One, 2K is now starting to flex some of the next-gen improvements. This includes improved hair physics, better models, and increased Create-a-Wrestler slots. As revealed by Ringside Pass and Gameplay designer Cornell G, WWE 2K26 will have an increased number of save and image slots. But the biggest news is that for Custom Superstars, head/body, and attire draw from separate pools. This means you get 60 dedicated layers for attire, and 40 for head and body.

The game will also now allow body morphing, as revealed in the official WWEGames Discord. You’ll be able to separately morph chest, upper/lower arms, stomach, and more.

A Big Win For Community Creations

While responding to the community, developer Cornell G also laid out the exact layers possible for Create-a-Superstar:

  • Body – 40
  • Attire (Ring 1) – 60
  • Entrance Attire 1 – 60
  • Attire (Ring 2) – 60
  • Entrance Attire 2 – 60

As revealed by The SmackDown Hotel on Twitter/X WWE 2K26 is also adding more options for air customization. The game is adding two-tone hair designs, allowing users to set two different hair colors, applied simultaneously. You can also select the blend point and sharpness to find the perfect balance.

All of these new features are major wins for the Community Creations crowd. By decoupling layer limits for attire and body, you no longer have to sacrifice the realism of a wrestler’s physique to add intricate details to their gear. And the return of separate body morphing is perhaps one of the bigger quality-of-life improvements for those who want to recreate legends or stars from other promotions.

Ultimately, these upgrades do serve as justification for leaving the PS4 and Xbox One behind. The increased memory overhead in the latest consoles, like the PS5 allow for these complex assets to exist in the game. Hopefully, this also means that the game runs and looks better. Of course, we’ll have to wait for the release to see how true that idea is. WWE 2K26 releases on March 13 for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PC (Steam).
