The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has announced that the season-ending WTA Finals will be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from 2024 to 2026. This decision brings an end to months of speculation and signifies the Gulf country's continued involvement in the sport of tennis.
Riyadh will serve as the host city for the prestigious season finale, which showcases the top eight singles players and doubles teams in the world. The event is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 9, replacing last year's hosts, Cancun, Mexico.
