"Trailblazing" former Chelsea striker Eniola Aluko has become the second player to be inducted to the the Barclays Women's Super League Hall of Fame.
Aluko follows former Blues Icon, Karen Carney MBE, in being honoured after an incredible playing career for both club and country. Aluko spent six years in the WSL while also studying for a Law degree.
She began her career at Birmingham City before spells at Charlton Athletic and Chelsea. Like a number of England internationals, a stint in the United States followed just before the formation of the WSL, when she returned home in 2012 to play again for Birmingham City with whom she won the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
