'Wrong f***ing thing to say' - Ex-Celtic boss Postecoglou in explosive Spurs exchange

Ange Postecoglou last night appeared to fume "that's the wrong f***ing thing to say" in an explosive Tottenham exchange.

The former Celtic boss was leading his club in a pre-season outing against a K-League XI when he barked orders during a drinks break.

Postecoglou, 58, didn't hold back in setting out his demands to his players despite the contest being a friendly as he appeared to cut off a player.

After a voice can be heard discussing the tactics with the score locked at 0-0 after 24 minutes, Postecoglou demands his players go on the press.

In the short clip shared on social media, Postecoglou can be heard shouting: "That's the wrong f***ing thing to say. We're going on the press, man for man.

"...just go man for man."

Postecoglou's rant appeared to work with Spurs opening the scoring just five minutes later through Dejan Kulusevski.

Son Heung-Min scored a double before the break to put the Premier League side three goals to the good.

However, the K-League select side pulled a couple back through Stanislav Iljutcenko in the 52nd and 54th minutes.

Will Lanksher netted for Spurs on 67 minutes before a late consolation for the hosts with Oberdan Alionco de Lima scoring nine minutes from full time in a 4-3 loss.

Discussing the heated moment on the sidelines, Postecoglou told Football.London: "Nothing really specific.

" It was more just about making sure we kept pressing on, because with the conditions the way they are and the training loads been pretty high, I didn't want us to back off in that moment and really [wanted to] push to half-time just more for our fitness than anything else.

"We thought it was a good opportunity for us to push on and try to be even more aggressive than we had been up to that point."
