Wrexham AFC have pleaded with their fans not to boo or jeer during the minute's silence which will be held for the Queen ahead of their Vanarama National League match with Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday night.
Phil Parkinson's side return to action at the Racecourse Ground after their match at the weekend against Maidenhead was postponed following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
There have been concerns around the UK that, in some corners, the minute's silence which is due to be observed ahead of matches may be sullied by those wishing to voice their own political views.

However, in an attempt to nip that in the bud in Wrexham, the Red Dragons have issued a firmly-worded statement to their fans, asking them to leave their personal views about the Queen and the monarchy "at the turnstiles".
A statement published on Wrexham's official website read: "Wrexham AFC will join all the other clubs in the National League and observe a one-minute silence before Tuesday’s game, as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"We have a simple request, regardless of your own personal opinions, which we recognise everyone is entitled to; on this occasion, you leave these at the turnstiles of the Racecourse Ground and do not use the one-minute silence to promote your own views over those of others.
"The spotlight on the club, shines brighter than ever and in an exceptionally positive way, so let’s not give anyone a reason to view the club in any other way, by not observing the one-minute silence.
"The club hopes it can count on your support in observing the one-minute silence."
Wrexham sit second in the National League after seven rounds of fixtures. The match against Dagenham and Redbridge kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday, September 13.
