Wrexham start their 2023/24 League Two season hosting MK Dons at the Racecourse, while Newport County face a trip to Accrington Stanley on the opening day of the campaign (August 5).
The north Wales club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are back in the fourth tier of English football after a 15-year absence, edging a classic battle with Notts County last term. Both clubs achieved more than 100 points across the course of the season and it was the Red Dragons who clinched the title ahead of their rivals.
The Magpies managed to achieve promotion via the play-offs in dramatic fashion and the two teams will lock horns again next term and will face each other in October and February.
A tough game against Swindon Town arrives early doors for Phil Parkinson's men, with the Robins arriving in north Wales on August 19.
The two Welsh clubs meet at the Racecourse two days before Christmas, with Wrexham travelling to face Swindon in the return fixture on Boxing Day. Newport are at home to Forest Green Rovers that day.
Wrexham, who are already being tipped to achieve back-to-back promotions, bring the season to a close at home to Stockport County.
