Wrexham release statement and ban former Liverpool youngster from wearing boots with x-rated Tory party message

Wrexham Paul Mullin Club Jurgen Klopp Manchester City

National League club Wrexham have revealed Paul Mullin will not wear his personalised boots which featured an x-rated message to the Conservative Party.

The Litherland-born forward made the move to the non-league club last summer and romped to the top of the goalscoring charts as Phil Parkinson's side missed out on promotion.

Already a cult-hero in North Wales, he took to social media and revealed his personalised boots ahead of Halifax Town's visit to the Racecourse Ground.
