Wrestling legend Booker T snubs The Undertaker as he names his WWE Mount Rushmore

WWE legend Booker T has picked his 'Mount Rushmore' of WWE, and there is a big omission in the form of fellow Hall of Famer The Undertaker. For those unaware, the term essentially means selecting the four wrestlers you deem to be the greatest of all time.

This is in reference to the actual memorial in South Dakota which features the 60-foot-tall (18 m) heads of four United States Presidents: George Washington Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, who were chosen to represent the nation's birth, growth, development and preservation, respectively.

Booker T also omitted the likes of Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels off his WWE Mount Rushmore. The wrestling great listed his picks in a recent Q&A session on his Hall of Fame Podcast , as per ewrestlingnews .

The six-time world champion said: “I’m not one of these Rushmore-like type guys, but as far as WWE Mount Rushmore, it would definitely be Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena and, probably, Triple H.

“Those guys, man, they did some extraordinary stuff. I got a chance to watch it from afar when I was at WCW, and I watched those guys create their magic. And I was in awe of what they were doing, and I wanted to be a part of it so bad. But I was happy at WCW making my money and not having to work in the cold cities.

“But I tell you, those guys, I’m serious, man, they did some amazing stuff back then and I had a hell of a time watching it.” The 57-year-old did name some of the greatest superstars of all time however, with the likes of Stone Cold and The Rock spearheading the most popular era of professional wrestling - the Attitude Era.

They were an integral part of WWE defeating WCW in the Monday Night Wars during the late 90s/early 00s. This forced the likes of Booker T, who was a WCW stalwart to defect to WWE once it had been closed down and taken over by the now former chairman, Vince McMahon.

WWE legend The Undertaker was left off Booker T's 'Mount Rushmore' (WWE)

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer wrestled alongside the two legends as well as Triple H, who he shared a blockbuster World Heavyweight championship match with at WrestleMania 19 in 2003. In what proved to be a very controversial rivalry, the former King of the Ring went on to lose to The Game, to the disappointment of many fans.

Triple H went on to become a 14-time world champion and is now the company’s Chief Content Officer. Booker T also saw the rise of John Cena, who became the company’s biggest star in the mid-2000s.

The pair battled in some intense matches over the United States championship in the early stages of Cena’s career, and the 10-time WCW tag champion saw first hand how capable Cena was both in the ring and with a microphone in hand, and he is now destined for a spot in the Hall of Fame himself.
