The Jacksonville Jaguars will be sitting seven players in Friday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Among them will be receiver Christian Kirk, who rolled his ankle in practice this week.
Buy Jaguars TicketsThe following players will be sidelined for the #Jaguars tonight, according to their PR department:
10 WR Laviska Shenault Jr.
13 WR Christian Kirk
21 CB Darious Williams
25 RB James Robinson
33 LB Devin Lloyd
39 WR Jamal Agnew
73 OL Badara Traore— James Johnson (@SportsGrind_Don) August 12, 2022
While the injury isn’t believed to be serious, the decision to sideline Kirk doesn’t come as a surprise as coach Doug Pederson has been smart with his players. Additionally, there is no shortage of receivers on the team, at the moment, as there are currently 12 on the roster. That said, there will now be more playing time for some bubble receivers as Laviska Shenault Jr. is also sitting on Friday.

(Of note: Laviska has already been ruled out for Friday + is on the bike. Will be interesting to see if Kirk plays) #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/pJYUELkcTK

As for the rest of the players who will sit, they were mostly expected as Pederson mentioned many of them earlier this week.
