WPL: Danni Wyatt traded to Royal Challengers Bengaluru from UP Warriorz

NEW DELHI: England's accomplished batter Danni Wyatt on Wednesday secured a move to Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) season through a trade deal from UP Warriorz, as announced by tournament officials.

Wyatt, aged 22, is also known for her occasional off-spin bowling abilities.

"England attacking batter Danni Wyatt is set to represent Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the upcoming TATA Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season following a successful trade from UP Warriorz (UPW)," the WPL said in a statement.

"Originally acquired by UPW in the auction for Rs 30 lakh, Wyatt will move to RCB at her existing fee," the statement further read.

With 164 T20 International appearances for England, the highest among English cricketers in the format, Wyatt joins RCB with significant international cricket expertise.
