We're just over a week from the Grand National and fans will be busy sorting through their wardrobes trying to decide what to wear.
The races are known throughout the world as the place to dress up and peacock on the concourse with thousands flocking to Aintree Racecourse in brilliant outfits often bought especially for the big day.
In terms of fashion, Ladies Day is the main event and for years it has been a well-gatekept spectacle where the most done-up and glamourous come out on top. But this year, with the dress code being dropped, a conversation has started on if anything goes at the world-famous races.

For those who've spent years wearing outfits often costing hundreds if not thousands worn only for that single visit on Ladies Day, it would seem like sacrilege to wear more affordable outfits like Primark or Matalan. But the fact is not everyone can afford a expensive outfit to throw to the back of the closet once Ladies Day closes up.
